On July 13, 2023, the time had come – our second office at Hof Meisebach in Bad Hersfeld was officially opened. On the occasion of the grand opening, numerous guests, including local politicians, service providers, and partners, were invited to explore the new and modern premises.

The Journey to Hof Meisebach

For us, expanding our existing office spaces at Hof Meisebach with an additional building is a significant milestone. Less than four years ago, we moved from Bad Hersfeld city center to Hof Meisebach with the team of eight individuals, in December 2019.

It was a big step for our CEOs, Patrick Pfau and Robin Wennemuth, as the new location offered more workspaces than employees at that time. However, things changed rapidly. Thanks to strong partnerships and collaborations, such as with SAP, we quickly filled the 23 seats, even amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From Remote Work to Hybrid Work

Undoubtedly, the COVID-19 pandemic also influenced our operations, especially in recent years. Like many other companies, we spent the initial months primarily working from home. Some employees even underwent online onboarding.

Over time, hybrid work, characterized by flexible working hours and locations, emerged as the best option for us and has become our common practice for quite some time now. There are no fixed days or frequencies for team members to work remotely or come to the office. This flexibility is crucial for us and our work outcomes.

The only exception to this is the days off within the context of the 4-day-work-week, which has been in a pilot phase since April 2023, involving our entire team. In this regard, all employees have Fridays or alternatively Mondays off.

The space in our office became increasingly limited due to our growing team, especially when we all gathered in the office for internal events, meetings in smaller groups, or simply for our shared lunch breaks.

Searching for Spaces for Creativity and Innovations

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at our beloved Hof Meisebach and rent additional office spaces in the neighboring building. This so-called “Herrenhaus” is not just an expansion of our offices; it’s designed to serve as a place for spontaneous on-site meetings, creativity, collaborative brainstorming, hosting internal events with all team members, and creating spaces for focused work on complex topics.

Today, approximately three and a half years after our move to Hof Meisebach, we are on the verge of welcoming our 40th team member.

Thanks to our new, modern, and open-concept office spaces, this is no longer a challenge for us. We now have ample space and precisely the working atmosphere we need to collaborate on innovative software solutions for Life Sciences companies worldwide. It empowers us to constantly explore new paths in the development of Cloud solutions, actively shaping the future of Life Sciences companies and making their work easier.

We are grateful for everything we have achieved as a team in the past years and for the support of numerous companions.
